Early in 2000, eCotton began discussing the possibility of helping our gin customers create and maintain a presence on the Internet.  In October of 2000, we decided to make this a reality by allowing eCotton gins to create web sites (actually created and hosted by eCotton) that would provide additional services to the gins and their customers.

In addition to the gin's home page, which provides general information about the gin itself, the following services are currently available:

Web Reporting
This allows the gin's customers to dynamically generate, view, and download reports based on current production data (updated daily by the gin).

Backup service
Since the gin must provide a daily data backup to eCotton (to drive the Web Reporting service), we will optionally archive the backups and make them available to the gin if and when they are needed.

Demo Gin Reports
To demonstrate the power of the eCotton Web Reporting option, we have created a demo gin page.  Reports for the demo gin are generated in real time, just as we do for real gins participating in the Web Reporting option.  To view demo reports, click here and follow the instructions on the demo gin page.
